Meet the Grosvenor Fencing Club Coaches

Grosvenor fencing coaches

From L to R.

David Jackson (Jacko)

N.Ireland Men's International Saburer & N.Ireland Commonwealth Fencer he is also a regular on the N.Ireland 5 Nations team.

David is a Level 3 Sabre and Level 3 Foil Coach who is responsible for general Foil and Sabre training.

Johnny Davis

Johnny is the senior coach on our team with a wealth of experience unmatched in N.Ireland Foil fencing. He was a member of the G.B Foil Team at 1988 & 1992 Olympic Games, he also attended 5 World Championships, 5 Commonwealth Championships amassing a total of 120 international caps.

Johnny is also a Level 5 Foil Coach who oversees the development of our emerging and advanced foilists.

Clarke Little

Clarke has represented Ireland at World Cadet level and he was also captain of the N.Ireland School Games Foil Team for 3 years picking up 2 individual bronze medals. Also selected for N.Ireland at Junior & Senior Commonwealth level and a regular N.Ireland 5 Nations Foilist.

Clarke is a Level 3 Foil coach and a British National Academy Coach and is responsible for our beginner/intermediate Foilists.
