Grosvenor Fencers Perform Well At The N.Ireland Open
A total of eight Grosvenor club members took part in in the recent N.Ireland Open, and it was one of the largest and toughest competitions for a number of years, with a total of 117 entrants over the two days. All the Grosvenor fencers performed brilliantly and the experience they will have gained from this competition will be useful for the future. Among the eight where Stephen Brown and Christopher Thompson both experiencing their first Senior Open Event and they both performed admirably. Well done to Christopher who won the U14 prize for best Male Foilist. Also congratulations to Mrs. Sandra Martin who picked up an award for her contribution to N.Ireland Fencing.
