Grosvenor Junior Fencers Make A Clean Sweep
Grosvenor Fencers have set a new higher standard in Junior Foil Fencing with their performances at the Celtic Open. This was the final event in the 2010 N.I Junior Foil Series, which took place in Campbell College on Saturday 6th November 2010 and what a day it turned out to be for Grosvenor fencing Club. Again our Junior fencers showed what our club stands for and turned out in big numbers to represent Grosvenor on the day. Every club member performed well with a large number of them going on to set a new record for an individual club's amount of wins at a N.I junior Foil Event.
At the Celtic Open Event itself, we had a clean sweep of Gold medals in ALL age groups in which Grosvenor fencers had entered.

The Club wants to say a big WELL DONE not only to all of our medal winners, but to all of our fencers who attended the competition with a number finishing just outside the medal places.
These results not only show the quality of junior fencing currently at the club but also the young talent we have coming through the ranks from U10 onwards. Taking these results along with Grosvenor Senior results at the recent North West Open in Londonderry which saw us take Gold, Silver & Bronze in Men's Foil along with Gold & Silver in Women's Foil and this shows the quality currently training at Grosvenor. With our quality coaches and this high standard of fencing the future is looking good. Well Done Everyone! [Gallery]
