Membership Information

We have various competitive membership packages available dependant on what age you are. So why not come along and try out fencing with us. We have one of the lowest set of membership fees in N.Ireland.

Compare what standard other clubs fence at and how many nights you can train (up to 3 with Grosvenor) and you will see we offer the BEST package in N.Ireland. Our Honours and Achievements section speaks for itself regarding our quality.

We are also the Only Fencing Club endorsed by Sport N.Ireland and Belfast City Council through the prestigious Clubmark Award. So you know we operate to the highest Sporting Club Standards. We also believe we are the friendliest club to train with.

Non Grosvenor Grammar School 2011 - 2012 Full Membership Fees:

Under 12: £110.00

Under 16: £150.00

16 and over:£190.00

A Family Discount of £20.00 is applicable for two or more family members joining.

We also offer a special Student Payment Package for all those hard pressed, hard working student's out there! Ask in Club or email below for details.

Info. for Club Members Interested in entering Competitions

ALL fencers MUST have a valid BFA Licence in order to compete in any competitions. This is not required for training with us.

There is the option of calling British Fencing HQ on 020 8742 3032 and have the following information ready:

Your “fencing organisation” (Northern Ireland);
Your “membership type” (select the type of membership you require);
Your title, name and initials;
Your postal address;
Your gender, date of birth and ethnicity;
At least one contact telephone number;
Optionally, you may add your email address (for British Fencing to use for email correspondence);
Select a payment method; and
Select a fencing club 'Grosvenor Fencing Club'.

Entry this way is immediate.

Membership Benefits and Competition Eligibility

Full

Benefits: Personal accident (cover ceases at 75) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine; right to vote at general meetings and right to vote in ballots for election of officers; attend BFA courses and obtain BFA awards.
Competition: All relevant British and International events, including County & Region events, novices championships, Winton Cup and all Open events.

Under 20

Benefits: Personal accident (cover limited for under 16) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine; attend BFA courses and obtain BFA awards.
Competition: All relevant British and International events, including County & Region events, novices championships, Winton Cup and all Open events, plus all relevant age group events at County and Region competitions, British Age Group Championships & Public School Championships including U20 Championships.

Under 13

Benefits: Personal accident (limited cover) & civil liability insurance cover; attend BFA courses and obtain BFA awards.
Competition: County & Region events, British Age Group Championships, relevant age group events and Public School Championships.

Social Member

Benefits: Personal accident (limited cover) & civil liability insurance cover.
Competition: None
